School hours


  • 9:00 am to 12:15 pm (Monday to Friday)

Class 1 to 12:

  • 9:00 am to 3:40 pm (Monday to Friday)

There is a short recess for 10 minutes and a longer lunch break for 30 minutes.

Co-curricular activities and Extra-curricular activities (Sports) are held as per the time table.

Global Indian International School (GIIS) appoints external school bus operators to provide transport services for its students.


Kindly note the following:

  • Estimated travel time from first to last stop is 30 - 60mins. For long haul routes (areas beyond the 8km radius from campus), estimated travel time is 60 - 70mins
  • Designated pick up and drop off locations will be provided by transporters as per routing
  • Bigger buses have designated centralised pick-up points
  • Parents are not permitted to travel by the school bus
  • Bus charges are not included in tuition fees and are based on bus zones
  • For new admissions, bus operators would need at least 3 to 5 working days after registration before the student can utilize school bus services
  • In the case of change in residential address, kindly update your profile immediately. School should be notified via email at least one week in advance
  • The bus operators will work out the most practical routes so as to reduce the travel time. Requests from parents for specific routes or timings will not be entertained by the bus operator
  • All buses are air-conditioned


School Uniforms

GIIS students are required to attend in full school uniform on all school days.

Uniform for Boys

  • Light blue striped half sleeved shirt
  • Deep blue shorts
  • Plain white canvas shoes
  • Plain white socks

Uniform for Girls

  • Light blue striped half sleeved blouse
  • Blue pleated skirts
  • Plain white canvas shoes
  • Plain white socks

Uniform for Physical Education & Extracurricular activities for both Boys and Girls

  • House T shirts (in red, or yellow or orange or blue)
  • Regular shorts or skirts

Hair style for Boys

Students should be neatly groomed at all times. Untidy, unruly and long hair are not permitted.

Hair style for Girls

Girls are to keep their hair short and to keep their hair in place black hair bands/clips should be used. Those who wish to keep their hair long are to plait the hair using black ribbons or bands.


Student Teacher Ratio

The Teacher-Student ratio at the GIIS campuses is 1:15.
(The teacher-student ratio mentioned above is calculated by dividing the number of students in a campus with the number of teachers in that campus)


Sick Bay

Global Indian International School has a full-fledged clinic operated by a qualified and experienced nurse. The nurse administers first aid to students in case of minor injuries. If a doctor has to be consulted for treatment, the parents will be informed immediately. In addition, the nurse also undertakes regular medical check-ups for all students.

The Sick Bay on campus operates from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
